Room service food options were limited, leaving me wanting more variety. Not a deal breaker but could use improvement.

The attention to detail and the wonderful staff made it a perfect spot to relax. We could not fault a thing. Sutari, our butler was always there to help when we needed her and indeed anticipated our needs in advance. From booking cars to and from Ubud to booking restaurants etc. The pool area was lovely and the gardens superb. Afternoon tea and cocktails were a lovely touch. We highly recommend The Chedi Club.
No complaint about the hotel, but with your booking service I requested a transfer to the Chedi Club. We ended up paying for a driver to take us from Seminyak to Ubud.

Delicious breakfasts, the stay was luxurious!
Well-equipped and well decorated room which had a mini fridge bar, an air conditioning, and an individual safe. The private parking was on-site, very good service. Could use laundry service free of charge, that's nice.

Tanah gajah is a hidden gem surrounded by lush rice paddies. Our one-bedroom pool villa had a fine view and felt very private. The spa treatments were out of this world, especially the couple's massage. The staff were very good, always accommodating our requests with a smile.
totally recommend

We stayed at the 1 BR pool villa and it was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. My wife was absolutely in love with the rice fields, the smell of the rice pastures and the overall luxury of our villa. We were also very impressed with our private butler. We recommend this place to anyone that loves nature, luxury and personal attention.
More cocktail options for the happy hour!

Chur! The spa was fantastic, but the hot-air balloon noise spoiled the peace. Super clean room made up for it! Sweet as vibes overall!

We both enjoy the peacefulness, absence of other tourists and feel very well looked after. My husband was ill while we were there and the staff looked after us very well. Got us to the correct medical treatment etc. nothing was too much trouble.

Very unique setting - Absolutely beautiful - The smell of the rice paddies... - It's just heaven - The kind of place you want to stay before you die! - Great staff also, they're trying hard to please you without being too intrusive, which is good when you're not used to that kind of attention - Ubud has a lot to offer, we ate in some great restaurants there such as Lamak, Cafe des Artistes (5*), Nomad, If you wallet can strech to Mozaic (Gastronomic/French-owned) go for it, you'll have a memorable evening, it was a 10/10 meal! One of South-East Asia top 5 place to it I heard, if not the best.

Luxury seekers absolute dream
The staff here are like family, all smiles, always ready to help. I remember sitting by my private pool, and they brought me breakfast right there, a perfect moment sipping coffee while gazing at the rice paddies.
It was a bit pricey but honestly worth every penny.

We enjoyed our stay because of the beautiful villa (although a bit dated), the surrounding gardens, the tranquility but most of all the local people working there. We had a butler (Pasek) who really did all he could to make our stay perfect. This is a man who loves his work!
What we did not like was that we had to pay an extra USD 60 per night for my 10 year old son who did not have his own bed. My 2 year old stayed for free, but 60 dollars for a small child sleeping in our bed is out of proportion! Especially since the hotel costs more than USD 350 a night! And the reason I booked a villa is that I have 2 kids! So this did not feel OK. I complained about this and after a discussion (which you don't want on a holiday over a subject such as this) they lowered the surcharge to 35 USD per night. We have stayed all over the world in a lot of beautiful hotels (even other Chedi hotels) but no one ever made me pay for my kids. If it's a small and cheap hotel I might understand, but this feels like a very easy way to make money and does not fit in this segment!

A unique escape with splendid views of lush rice fields! Each villa is a private paradise, and the dining experience was really good-especially the chef's tailored dinners. Relaxing by the pool is lovely 🌴✨
Some areas in the resort show signs of wear, which may need attention, but overall it didn't detract from our experience.
